Bonus Cards

Description and Objective

Bonus Cards is a new and exciting game of chance, based on the successful card game HiLo with some extra bonus features. Place bets on the draw of the next card, carrying a rolling stake placed upon a choice of higher or lower, suit and color.

The objective is to reveal a sequence of 9 cards. These cards are selected at random from a normal deck of 52 cards at the beginning of each game and are displayed face down on the game table. The first card is shown by default. This is considered a reference card for the first bet.

Before turning each next card, a player is asked to place a bet. A player can bet on revealing a higher or a lower card, a card suit (heart, club, diamond or spade) or a card color (red or black). A player can even place combination bets (such as high and red, low and diamond, etc.) increasing the bet return. Each successful bet increases the player's win amount. A game is lost when the bet is unsuccessful. Until this occurs, the player is able to cash out and claim the win amount at any time. The highest card in the deck is King and the lowest one is Ace. Players are not allowed to bet higher than King or lower then Ace.

Placing Bets

To start a game, you need to place an initial stake. The stake amount is set with the '-' and '+' buttons. To submit your stake click the Play button.

Select the stake type by clicking on the Hi, Lo, Red, Black buttons or the Diamond, Club, Heart and Spade icons. To cancel the selection, click on the button again.
Depending on the reference card, some of the betting options may be disabled. For example, if the reference card is an Ace, the 'Lo' bet selection will be disabled.
To confirm bets, click on the Confirm button, located below the betting buttons. This button is only enabled if at least one bet option is selected.

You cannot alter the stake during the game. However, you may cash out your current winnings at any stage of the game before the next card is revealed.

Opening Cards

After the bet is confirmed you should select one of the face down cards to turn over. Depending on whether this card matches your bet, the game will be won or lost. If your bet wins you will be asked to reveal another card, and so on. You may continue to reveal all the cards offered or you may cash out your winnings before the next bet is placed.

Note that:

• Aces are low: The Ace will always be the lowest card in the pack, so if you receive this card, you can only bet higher. If you for example receive a 3, bet higher and then receive an Ace, then your bet will lose.
• Pairs lose: If you place a straight high/low bet and receive a matching card then your bet will lose. However, if you only choose a color or suit bet then your bet will still be valid.

Game Bonuses

Bonus Cards has the following bonuses, which can be added to your winning amount during the game:

• If the 4th card of eight is guessed correctly, a player gets 15% of the stake amount;
• If the 8th card of eight is guessed correctly, a player gets 30% of the stake amount;
• If the Seven of Hearts is revealed, the player's bonus is doubled.

Note: Game bonus amounts are fully configurable and can be changed. The Seven of Hearts can also be configured as bonus card or can be considered a simple card. YouSpades reserves the right to change bonus amounts and bonus cards without notice.

Game Result

The amount you can win depends both on how specific your selections are and the chances of your selection being correct. The game may end in one of the following ways:

• You've matched all the cards. In this case, the player's win amount is added to his/her account and the player is offered the option to play again.
• You've matched a card, but do not want to continue the game. In this case, you can cash out the current win amount by clicking the Cashout button. After cashout you will be offered the option to play again.
• If you've lost your bet, you will be offered the option to play again. Clicking the Play again button will return you to the initial game screen where you can define an initial stake.
