Description and Objective

Video Slots play in practically the same way as regular slots but they use a video display and five reels, instead of the three spinning wheels found on the traditional format. They feature enhanced graphics and other video and audio effects which create an exciting playing experience. Whereas three-reel slots usually have one payline, video slots always have more than one and sometimes as many as nine paylines. As in three-reel slots, various symbol combinations falling on the activated paylines generates a win and payout. The Olympic Slots machine has five reels and nine paylines. The objective is to spin the reels so that the symbols form a winning combination on at least one of the paylines.

Paylines are straight or zigzagged lines that cross through one symbol on each reel, along which a winning combination is evaluated. Each of the paylines is highlighted on the game screen in a particular color. These are nine possible paylines:

At the bottom of the screen is the control panel, with which the player controls the game flow.

The Value field displays the unit stake value (bet per line value).

Bet shows the total bet value, equal to (Bet per line value) x (Number of lines wagered).

Free Spins displays the number of free spins granted to a player as a bonus.

The Win field displays the total win amount. If winning combinations are lined up along several paylines, the payouts are added together. The amount won along one payline is (Bet per line value) x (Combination Payout, listed in the pay table).

Placing bets / Spin round

Placing a bet in Video Slots games means selecting the number of lines to bet on and the bet per line value.

• To set the bet per line value use the '+' and '-' buttons to either side of the Value field.
• To set the number of active lines per spin, click on the Bet One button. Each click of the button increases the number of active paylines by one. Active lines are highlighted with the corresponding colors on the main game screen.

Note: On both sides of each payline there are two buttons displaying its number. To set the number of active paylines, you may click the corresponding payline button. For instance, to bet on 4 paylines, click on Payline Button 4 - the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th paylines will be wagered and highlighted.

• To start the reels spinning, use the Spin button.
• To place a maximum bet of 9 paylines, use the Bet Max control. Once the Bet Max control is clicked, the reels start spinning automatically.
• To view the payout table, click one of the two View Payout buttons. To return to the main game screen, click on Back to Game.

Once the reels stop spinning, if there is no winning combination formed on the payline, all the buttons on the control panel become active and you can place a new bet. If a winning combination along one of the paylines is formed, it is animated and the corresponding field in the payout table starts blinking.

• Note that only the highest win is paid on each of the active paylines.
• All symbols pay left to right on consecutive reels of an active payline.
• All wins listed in the pay table are multiplied by the line bet.

Auto Spin option

This option allows the player to select a number of spin repeats with the selected number of paylines and bet per line value.

• Click on the Auto Spin button to activate this option. The screen for selecting the number of spins appears.
• Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select the number of spins. You may select 10, 20, 50 or 100 spin repeats.
• Click No to close the screen.
• Click Yes for the reels to start spinning. When the Yes button is clicked, the Auto Spin button is replaced by a Stop button. To stop the reels, use the Stop control or click anywhere on the reels.

Bonus Features

• Wild Symbol

  Olympic Slots has a Wild Symbol, which can be substituted for any other symbol (except for bonus symbols) and may help to form a winning combination. The wild symbol does not pay anything by itself.

  There are two types of bonus symbols in the game: the 'Golden Cup'; and 'Silver Cup'.

• Bonus Game

  A combination of 3 golden cups on any active payline triggers the 'Sports Fishing' bonus game. Note: points earned during bonus games are converted to chips. The total bonus win (in points) is multiplied by the line bet. The gained value is displayed on the final bonus game screen.

• Free Spins

  If 4 silver cups appear anywhere on the reels, a player is granted 3 free spins.

  5 silver cups appearing anywhere on the reels awards a player 30 free spins.

  In the event of free spins, the reels will start spinning automatically without the player clicking the Spin button. Your effective bet (number of lines and bet per line value) during free spins is the same as the bet being placed when free spins were initially triggered.

Bonus wins are multiplied by the bet per line.
